Andean Sisters - Peru

Coffee Bay's Andean Sisters, from Café Femenino Peru, carries a story as rich as its flavour. In 2004, 464 Peruvian women farmers united with OPTCO to launch the world's first women-produced coffee market, sparking the global Café Femenino® movement now supporting thousands of women across nine countries through direct ownership, trade, and community development. Despite facing discrimination and limited resources, these women built confidence, leadership, and lasting change. In the cup, expect a smooth, medium-bodied Peruvian coffee with notes of milk chocolate, caramel, and red apple, balanced by a soft, mellow acidity.
