Black Gold is the coffee that started everything. Our first blend, this seasonal espresso was created to be an approachable crowd-pleaser, and it soon became the foundation of everything we do at the Roastery.
We serve Black Gold daily at our Espresso Bar alongside our other sensational coffee offerings. It’s favoured by many, part of people’s daily routines and we couldn’t be more proud of it. In 2014, it won two gold stars in the UK Great Taste Awards.
Black Gold is hand-roasted to just beyond first crack to give it a rich espresso zing while still retaining the natural flavours gained at origin. Its rich chocolate and biscuit base make it very drinkable. It’s a post-blended coffee, currently made up of Fazenda do Salto, Minca, and Finca El Parisio.
