About this coffee;
This coffee is produced from a handful of smallholder farms in the southeastern Mountains of Brazil. Ibiraci is a region with a higher altitude compared to its surroundings, a flat plateau that produces a great quality coffee.
Seeking to take advantage of the mild climate and slower cherry maturation, farmers produce coffees known for their acidity and fruit-forward profiles.
Modern machinery and high-tech methodologies to cultivate and process the coffee are leading the way for speciality coffee in this region. For these reasons, mechanized harvesting is fairly common as it can produce a consistent and quality coffee with natural being the main processing method.
Ibiraci primarily grows the Catuai and Mundo Novo varieties.
This coffee has been sourced and roasted for espresso.
