What’s the story?
A fudgy sweet Brazilian coffee is a beautiful thing. Specialty coffee from the best growing regions in Brazil offer a delicious balance of sweetness, nuttiness and gentle hints of soft fruit acidity. We take great care in choosing the right one, as these coffees form the base of our best selling house blends. This blend of multiple farms and estates is something we have used as the base for our Barnraiser and 60/40 espresso blends for a few years, giving them their buttery chocolate base.
An easy drinking, all day comfort coffee. Uncomplicated, unpretencious choc & nut classic.
This Rainforest Alliance certified natural lot was sourced from Fazenda Santa Rosa in the Sul de Minas (south of Minas Gerais) region by our mates at Covoya Specialty, who import the coffee and work closely with farmers of all sorts of origins. The estate is made up of a two primary farms subdivided into various plots. The total area covers 720 hectares.
South Minas is the largest coffee growing region in Brazil and the world, home to some of the best coffees
in Brazil. The region is characterised by mountainous terrain, rich fertile soil and vast natural reserves of Brazil’s Atlantic Rainforest.
The favourable climate and relief, together with handmade coffee production, are the secrets of the award-winning region. The factors for success are a dedication at all stages of production, solid infrastructure and investment research.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
