Candelaima
Candelaima Coffee Estate is an agroforestry regeneration and renewal project that began approximately six years ago. Prior to this initiative, the farm remained in a state of productive inactivity for nearly fifteen years. Before that period, it operated as a traditional Colombian farm, combining agricultural crops, livestock and areas of native forest.
Today, Candelaima has established itself as a project focused on the production of high-quality specialty coffees, recognised for their outstanding cup profiles. The estate cultivates a range of exotic varieties, including Geisha, Pacamara, Bourbon and Sudan Rume, among others. The coffee plants are intercropped with avocado, plantain and citrus trees, creating diverse agroforestry systems that promote balanced ecosystems and contribute to the development of distinctive sensory profiles.
