About this Product
Process: Sugar Cane Decaf
Cupping notes: Milk Chocolate, Apple & Lemon
Atunkaa is a naturally processed sugarcane decaf sourced by Siruma, whose name comes from the Wayuunaiki language of the Wayuu indigenous people of northern Colombia and means heaven and skies; Atunkaa means sleep and sleepy dreams. The coffee is sourced from Piendamó, Cauca, from a small association known as ACC, the Central Cauca Association for peace.
Once processed, the lot is decaffeinated at Descafecol using the sugarcane (ethyl acetate) method, a gentle natural process that removes the caffeine while maintaining the coffee's sweetness. Each batch is handled independently to preserve its complete traceability and quality. The result is a balanced and easy drinking decaf with a clean finish. Expect notes of crisp apple and bright lemon with a smooth, milk chocolatey finish.
