Farmers in Huila grow their Colombian coffee at elevations of around 1,200 metres, where the cooler temperatures help the beans mature slowly, developing a richer flavour. These farmers use sustainable methods, carefully handpicking each coffee cherry at exactly the right moment to guarantee quality and freshness.

The term Excelso Coffee refers to the bean size and quality rather than its flavour. Excelso beans are medium-sized and highly rated for their consistency and quality. They go through a careful wet processing method, where beans are fermented, washed, and dried. This approach preserves their natural flavours and keeps the acidity clean and balanced.
