'Hawaii Kona' coffee is the most famous of all Hawaiian coffees, well-known for its bold yet elegant profile and widely enjoyed flavours of chocolate and spices. The Kona region on the big island of Hawaii is home to a superb combination of climatic factors, making for an ideal coffee growing micro-climate, characterized by rich volcanic soil, an ideal elevation of about 300-500 metres, and steady, gentle weather.
Greenwell Estate Kona coffee is grown on a small private estate of just 60 hectares of the most productive land in the Kona District, about 335 metres above sea level. Only the very best quality coffee is identified as this Greenwell Estate 'Extra Fancy' Hawaiian Kona.
