Guatemala The Lioness

The Lioness (in Spanish, La Leona) is a coffee grown by a proud & committed community of producers that work as a collective in the region of San Marco.
This coffee is grown in rich, fertile, volcanic soils which help create clean, elegant notes in the cup.
We have chosen to roast this coffee slightly fuller in order to achieve richer, sweeter flavour notes of hazelnut, toffee and even pomegranates.

The producers that put together The Lioness coffee are committed to quality. They have worked hard on their infrastructure over the years to improve the quality of what they do. Today, they are proud of the coffee that they produce and are excited about what the future holds

You’ll notice that the bags inside of this box of coffee does not have a foil lining or a plastic ventilation valve. Both of these elements are the main things that prevent commercial coffee bags being either home recyclable or home compostable. Because of this you may wish to purchase one of our reusable bag clips to secure the bag inside.
