About this Product
Monsoon Malabar is India’s most iconic coffee, known for its distinctive flavour, mellow profile, and unusual processing. Grown on the Malabar Coast of Karnataka and Kerala, these Arabica beans undergo a special “monsooning” process, where they’re exposed to moist monsoon winds for several weeks. This aging technique swells the beans and gives them a pale golden colour — along with a flavour profile found nowhere else in the world.
In the cup, expect a full, smooth body with very low acidity, and tasting notes of earthy spice, wood, tobacco, and dark cocoa. It’s rich, mellow, and slightly wild — ideal for those who enjoy bold coffee without sharpness.
Perfect for espresso, moka pot, or milk-based drinks like lattes and flat whites.
Tasting Notes:
Woody Spice • Dark Cocoa • Tobacco • Earthy Body
