About this Product
Indonesia produces some great coffee with its stable temperatures, fertile soils and high altitudes.
Most of the country’s coffee is produced by smallholders, this from the active volcanic region of Kerinci on the island of Sumatra.
The anaerobic natural process means oxygen is removed to slow down fermentation to bring out often more complex fruity flavours. This takes 7 days followed by another 21 days of drying before final sorting by hand – all in all a long and labour intensive process to get the best flavour from the bean.
This is a really special full-bodied bean with depth and complexity and is suitable for all brew methods including filter.
