About this Product
Aberdare Peak Kenya AA is grown on the high volcanic slopes between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Range, an area known for cool evenings and mineral-rich soil that encourage slow, even development of the cherries. This natural pace, combined with careful shade management and selective handpicking, gives the beans a clarity and brightness that stand out immediately in the cup.
After harvesting, the coffee is fully washed and dried on raised beds, a process that heightens its clean profile and brings forward a distinctive balance of fruit and sweetness. Small farming groups in the region work with meticulous attention, grading and sorting each batch so only the best lots make it through.
The result is a refined Kenyan coffee with layered notes of blackcurrant, red berries and soft vanilla, resting on a smooth cocoa undertone. It offers a vibrant yet composed cup, with a lively acidity that lifts the flavour without overwhelming it, and a finish that remains gentle and rounded.
