Kenya Kamwangi Washed Filter

A classic washed Kenya — think blackcurrant and lime with lovely body. Best enjoyed as a filter, black, where the clarity of the cup can do the talking.

Few coffees are as instantly familiar as a classic washed Kenyan, and this lot from Kamwangi is a happy reminder why. Contributed to by smallholders in the cool, volcanic foothills of Mount Kenya, the cherries ripen slowly at altitude, bringing out the densely juicy, fruity notes which are unmistakably Kenyan!

As a light roast, we recommend drinking this without milk, so the clarity, fruity flavours and crisp acidity shine through.

Like all our filter roasts, this is probably not suitable for espresso machines. If you are looking for a better option to brew on your home espresso machine, or want a coffee with heavier body and texture, safer to choose one of our espresso roasts.
