Langhūs is our house espresso: a blend of washed and natural Latin American coffees created to be sweet enough to enjoy as a straight espresso, but bold enough to stand up beautifully to milk.
Expect a medium body, high sweetness and balanced acidity, with notes of milk chocolate, toffee and raisin.
Longhouses sat at the heart of Viking communities — places to gather, eat, drink and welcome people in.
Langhūs was created as the house espresso for our first coffee shop in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Since then, it has become one of our best-selling coffees and our ultimate all-rounder.
As an espresso, it’s sweet, rounded and balanced. Add milk and it has enough body to carry through a cappuccino or latte without becoming heavy or bitter.
