Lyenga is a beautifully sweet Tanzanian coffee, combining the brightness of ripe blackberry with smooth caramel and a rich chocolate-brownie finish. It comes from the highlands of Mbozi in southern Tanzania, where 292 smallholder producers work together through the Iyenga cooperative.
Ripe cherries are picked by hand before being fully washed and slowly dried on raised tables, creating a cup that is wonderfully clean, balanced and full of character. The fruitiness is vibrant without being sharp, while the deep caramel and chocolate notes make every sip feel comforting and familiar. A deliciously approachable coffee for anyone who enjoys juicy fruit flavours with plenty of sweetness.
