About this Product
The bright stone fruit acidity and white florals in this cup remind us of Ethiopian profiles. This is accompanied by a syrupy body and clean aftertaste.
We’re pleased to be releasing another coffee from producer Luz Helena Salazar. This is the first coffee we’ve had from her “Maracay” farm. The origin of the Pink Bourbon varietal is quite fascinating. It was initially believed to be a natural mutation of Red Bourbon. However, more recent genetic testing has revealed that it may not be Bourbon at all, but instead an Ethiopian landrace varietal that was introduced to Colombia.
