Coffee Overview
Founded in 2016, Agri Evolve was established after recognising the challenges faced by coffee farmers in western Uganda. While producers grew exceptional coffee, they often lacked access to proper harvesting and processing facilities, forcing them to sell at low prices with little opportunity to improve quality.
Working directly with farmers across the Rwenzori Mountains, Agri Evolve created a reliable market for coffee cherries while investing export profits back into local communities through training, education, equipment, and processing facilities. Today, they work with over 23,800 registered farmers and operate their own milling and export facilities, helping producers increase both quality and profitability.
Process Info
This coffee is a naturally processed lot produced from SL14 and SL28 varieties grown at 1,700 metres above sea level in the Rwenzori Mountains. Home-processed naturals formed the foundation of Agri Evolve's early work, creating opportunities for farmers to improve quality while receiving fair prices for their coffee.
The result is a sweet, fruit-forward cup with notes of ripe strawberry, creamy white chocolate, and nostalgic cola bottles, delivering a vibrant and approachable profile.
