At the foothills of Mount Meru, near the iconic peaks of Kilimanjaro and the bustling town of Arusha, lies Burka Coffee Estate—one of Tanzania’s most historic and renowned coffee farms.
Since 1899, exceptional coffee has been cultivated here under the shade of native trees at 1,400 metres above sea level. Combining generations of expertise with sustainable farming practices, the estate produces specialty-grade coffees celebrated around the world.
Rich volcanic soils, abundant sunshine, and a unique high-altitude climate create the perfect conditions for growing outstanding coffee. The result is a beautifully balanced cup with delicate floral aromas, vibrant notes of citrus and ripe fruit, a silky body, and bright, refined acidity.
