The Farm
Somewhere between the snowy mountains and the Brazilian sunshine, the Caffeinated Yeti got a little lost.
We tracked him down at Fazenda Terra Preta, an award-winning coffee farm in Brazil, where he’d apparently swapped the snow boots for a hammock and discovered that Brazilian coffee is considerably warmer than home.
And he’s onto something.
In the cup, expect rich chocolate, caramel sweetness and roasted nuts, with a gentle fruity character and a big, smooth body. Basically, the sort of coffee that makes getting out of bed on a cold morning considerably less offensive.
Fazenda Terra Preta has a serious trophy cabinet too, with award-winning coffees and recognition on the international specialty coffee scene. So while the Yeti might be a bit of a legend, the coffee definitely isn’t made-up.
Apparently the Yeti came for the sunshine.
He stayed for the coffee.
Can’t blame him, really.
