High in mountains of Ethiopia lies Kontoma. a place with a story that feels especially meaningful at this time of year. Long ago, hunters would gather in an open clearing surrounded by forest before setitng off on their separate journeys. They would agree to return to that same spot, a familiar meeting place where everyone would come together. Over time, the area became known as Kontoma, name rooted in the tradition of gathering.

It's a story that reminds us of what makes christmas so special. No matter where the year has taken us, there's something comforting about finding our way back to the people and places that matter. This spirit of reunion is at the heart of our festive blend, bringing together two remarkable coffees from different corners of the world.

Two Origins, Brought Together

Korma Kontoma, Ethiopia Heirloom

From the highlands of Sidama, our washed Ethiopian Heirloom comes from a region shaped by rich traditions and a deep connection to the land. Grown at elevations 2,100 - 2,300 metres, this coffee brings its own distinctive character to the blend.

Finca Manila, Guatemala Gesha

Nestled among the volcanic highlands of San Marcos, Finca Manila is an award winning estate known for its dedication to exceptional coffee. Carefully cultivated and processed, its washed gesha contributes to the blend's elegant character.

Brought Together

Together, these two coffees create something truely special, with delicate floral notes of clemintine and bergamont complimented by a sweetness of cranberry. Clean, delicate and beautifully balanced, this blend is particularly well suited for filter brewing, offering an elegant, easy drinking cup to enjoy throughout the festive season.
