Once again, we welcome November with our warmest blend. To celebrate the arrival of the winter season, we’re introducing a brand-new coffee, created to delight every coffee drinker - whether you prefer filter or espresso, a classic black brew or a comforting milky cup. It’s the perfect companion for cold yet cosy festive days.
Start your winter warmer with elegant notes of Rose, followed by sweet notes of fresh and juicy Galia Melons with a finish of Red berries - think ripe cranberry and raspberry to round out the cup.
This blend brings together two origins from Central and South America: Mexico and Honduras. We’ve carefully selected small-scale coffee growers whose exceptional farming practices bring the finest flavours into every cup.
The first component is a Washed Mexican coffee called "Las Tejedoras”. Las Tejedoras (the weavers) are women that continue the deep-rooted Mayan traditions through fine textile arts that exemplify the essence of the Chiapas States. Amidst the mountains of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, Elba Roblero was born in the community of Santo Domingo la Cascada. Elba uses selective harvesting of only ripe fruits, followed by a 36-hour fermentation process before washing and finally transferring to drying patios on her farm “Las Limas”.
For the second component we have sourced a Honey processed coffee from Honduras from Finca La Valentina which is a farm managed by Carlos Ernestor Mejia. The farm is located at 1,600 m.a.s.l and has 23 hectares of coffee plantations. The farm has an annual production of about 550 bags and approximately 90,000 trees. They also grow citrus fruits and Japanese plums on their land. This honey-processed coffee is depulped and dry fermented with the mucilage for 2-3 days, before sun drying for 12 - 15 days.
The beautiful bag artwork has been designed by artist Karen Brotherton, whose final piece reflects the warmth, texture and seasonal charm that this blend embodies.
This coffee comes in a 250g Standup Coffee Bag and is delivered in a box - not letterbox friendly.
